Kara yawned and looked up at the sky. The large, almost black cloud over her head told her that there was going to be a storm on it's way. Nice and loud, just the way she liked it. She crossed her fingers, hoping for lightning, then uncrossed them again because she wasn't supersticious and it was silly.
The first few drops of rain were very heavy. A good sign, she thought. Very soon it was bucketing down with rain, and after a few minutes, Kara was completely drenched. But she coudn't care less. She's rather rain then sun any day. And that was exactly what she was getting. Rain, rain- and more rain.
When the first lighting strike appeared, Kara's face broke into a grin. She counted the seconds between the lightning strike and the thunder. 39 seconds. So it was roughly ten miles away. Darn.
Kara yawned again, wondering why she was so tired. Oh. It had been because she was too busy checking, re-checking and checking again her supply of chocolate to sleep until 4 a.m. One had to be thorough about those kind of things. They could announce any time that they have a shortage of chocolate and it had to be rationed. Although if Hogwarts ever did have a chocolate shortage, it would no doubt be because of Kara's nightly trips to the kitchen in order to stock up on chocolate frogs.
Kara grinned to herself, and sat down on the soaking wet grass. Of course her robes would get dirty, but who cared? Kara certainly didn't. And besides, watching the storm was FAR more important.
